Function startAgentOSSpan

  • startAgentOSSpan(name, options?): Span | null

  • Starts an AgentOS span. Only string, number and boolean attributes, and arrays of them, are kept.

    Parameters

    • name: string

      The span's name.

    • Optional options: {
          kind?: SpanKind;
          attributes?: Attributes;
      }

      The span's kind and attributes.

      • Optional kind?: SpanKind
      • Optional attributes?: Attributes

    Returns Span | null

    The started span, or null while tracing is off or content-safe telemetry is on.
