fal, Replicate and Runway receive a URL as given, so the provider fetches
the file itself; a Buffer is sent to them as a data: URL whose MIME type
is read from the file's first bytes (PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP; PNG when none
matches). The Gemini provider sends every image inline: it fetches an
image URL itself through the checked egress path (https on 443 to public
addresses, each redirect checked, 20 MiB across a call's images by
default), decodes a base64 or percent-encoded data: URL, and passes a
Gemini Files API URI as a uri.
